Nigeria female ex-international, Stella Mbachu has spoken out with immense confidence that the national team, Super Falcons, will emerge winners of this year’s Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco without dropping a single point.
Sports247 reports that Mbachu is further motivated to think big for the Falcons because of their 3-1 victory over Ghana’s Black Stars in their last build-up friendly on Sunday evening in Casablanca, Morocco, where they will also play Tunisia in their first group match of WAFCON 2025 on July 5th.

Mbachu affirmed, “I am telling Nigerians that they must not be afraid for the Super Falcons. They should not be scared.
I am assuring them that the team will lift this year’s trophy. The girls are going to make history again.”
Aside from Tunisia, Botswana and Algeria, who are all in Nigeria’s group, Mbachu noted the presence of defending champions, South Africa among the contending nations at the competition which begins this Saturday in Rabat, but stressed that none of them will stop Nigeria’s target of grabbing a 10th title.
She added, “I don’t see any team challenging us. I know South Africa is there, no doubt, Algeria is also there, but they have lost some of their key players.
“We have lost some players too, but we now have new ones coming in. So, there’s no way they can match us or beat us.”
Mbachu concluded by affirming her verdict that Coach Justin Madugu’s side, who placed fourth last time out in the same country three years ago, will return home with their record-extending 10th continental title at the end of healthy hostilities in the North African country.
“We will win every single game. We will win all of our matches, starting from preliminaries to the final. We are not going to drop any point until we become the champion again,” Mbachu boldly concluded.
