Nigeria’s Super Falcons have officially unveiled their squad numbers ahead of the 2024 CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) set to kick off in Morocco today.
The release comes as the team intensifies preparations for what has been tagged #MissionX—a bid to clinch a historic 10th continental title.

The 24-woman roster features a blend of experienced stars and exciting young talents, with several key players retaining their traditional numbers.
Goalkeeper Tochukwu Oluehi will wear the No. 1 jersey, while Asisat Oshoala, one of the most decorated African women’s footballers, keeps her iconic No. 8.
Team captain Rasheedat Ajibade takes No. 15, with first-choice goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie donning the No. 16 shirt.

As the countdown to WAFCON 2024 is over, the Super Falcons—Africa’s most successful women’s national team—will start their campaign on Sunday against Tunisia before taking on Botswana next Thursday and end their group game against Algeria next Sunday.
The team looking to make a strong statement in the group stage which will set them up for the proper chase of their 10th title on Moroccan soil in the crucial stages of the competition.
