Former Super Eagles’ ace, Mutiu Adepoju, has added his voice to reactions trailing the brilliant start of Nigeria’s female squad at this year’s Women’s Africa Cup of Nations and declared that he wants to see them win the competition.
Sports247 reports that Adepoju was delighted seeing the Super Falcons defeat Tunisia 3-0 in their first match of the ongoing competition in Morocco, but quickly interjected that Coach Justin Madugu’s side must keep winning all their matches.

Speaking ahead of the Falcons’ second group match, which will come up against Botswana on Thursday, ‘The Headmaster’ added that he was excited by what he saw them do against Tunisia but stressed that they need to make all Nigerians happy by returning home with the trophy.
Mutiu said: “The Falcons have done greatly in all WAFCON competitions, and they have been at the forefront in Africa. They have been doing well, and all I can say is just to wish them well.
“They should try their best and prove that they are worthy of winning this competition. We all want to see them win the cup this time around, and I want to wish them all the best.”
After Thursday’s second group game in Casablanca, Mutiu will also hope to see the Falcons wrap up the first round with another win versus Algeria on Sunday.
