The African based only world sanction body, World Africa Boxing Association (WABA) is on the process to establish the “AFRICAN BOXING HALL OF FAME” to honor Africa’s based heroes, heroines and diaspora in the sport of boxing.
The entity to be managed by retired boxing stakeholders will research on the contributions of individuals and organizations to the growth of the sport of boxing. Successful candidates will be nominated and then inducted to the African Boxing Hall of Fame.
The process will hinge on the candidate’s proven records including documentary evidence. To avoid conflict of Interests member of the management won’t be eligible for induction to the African Boxing Hall of Fame.
WABA is rolling up several activities to uplift the spirit of boxing in the current global criss caused by the Covid-19 Pandemic.
