Volleyball: Thirty Players Invited To Preparatory Camp Ahead of All African Games

Thirty volleyball players have been invited to the national team training camp ahead of the All African Games scheduled for August next year in Ghana.

The list of 30 players includes 15 male players and 15 female players, who are going to be tutored by the technical adviser of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation Alexander Boskovic.

Boskovic will be joined by five other national team coaches including Hajia Rakiya Mohammed, head coach of Plateau State women volleyball team.

Also, Dennis Eleri, Vincent Unogwu, Suleiman Ajeigbe and Rakiya Mohammed are expected to join the coaching crew during the training camp which is expected to start on from 9th to 18th October, 2022 in Kaduna.

For the male team: Vincent Mathias (COAS Spikers), Elisha Anabi (CNS Spikers), Abdulqadri Jaiyeola (OFFA VC), Pascal Ozokoye (NSCDC), Ismail Tiamiu (OFFA VC), Philip Alande (Nigeria Customs Service), Princewill Okoi (Nigeria Customs Service), Raheem Olayemi (Sunshine Spikers), Moses Gana (Kano Pillars), Samuel Ogwuche (NSCDC), Alex Jeremiah (Kada Kings), Jibrin Mora (Kwara United VC), Patrick Anthony (Kano Pillars), Arinze Nwachukwu and Ebuka Nwanfo (Plateau Rocks).

For the female team: Sarah Ali (COAS Spikers), Ifeoma Mordi (COAS Spikers), Deborah Chukwu (COAS Spikers), Gift Michael (Kada Emeralds), Esther Mbah (Kada Emeralds), Falilat Ibrahim (Kada Emeralds), Mariam Usman (CNS Spikers), Aisha Andulraheem (CNS Spikers), Mary Gana (Nigeria Customs Service), Enewa Odoh (Nigeria Customs Service), Mercy Promise (NSCDC), Happy Wasilang (NSCDC), Francisca Ikhiede (Nigeria Customs Service), Chilota Marvelous (Kada Emeralds) and Naomi Yaro (Kada Emeralds).
