Osimhen joined the fray in the 84th minute and it was a winning a return for Nigeria striker.
Osimhen had been out since sustaining an ankle sprain with ligament bleeding during Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Rwanda earlier this month.
The injury kept him out of action for three matches, including key fixtures against Eyüpspor, Eintracht Frankfurt in European competition, and Konyaspor.
His return comes at a crucial time, as head coach Okan Buruk looks to keep the Istanbul giants sharp in both domestic and continental challenges.
Although Osimhen did not find the net against Alanyaspor, his presence restored dynamism to the attack, further strengthening a side that already looks unstoppable.
