Galatasaray of Turkey striker, Victor Osimhen has been described as a ‘completely different player,’ who can score goals from a half chance at any pioint in time during a match, Sports247 reports.
This is the bold verdict of a highly respected Turkish football analyst, Emre Eren, who noted that the Super Eagles’ striker continues to draw transfer interest from top clubs because of his lethal form in front of goal.

While also hailing Osimhen’s all-round contributions to his team’s success in Turkey and on the continent, Eren predicted that Gala will not well the fast-paced Nigerian star for anything less than €150m should the need to let him go arise at the end of this season.
Eren’s verdict comes at a point when FC Barcelona of Spain are reportedly eyeing the 2023 African Footballer of The Year as a likely replacement for ageing Robert Lewandowski, while various permutations also keep emerging about the Nigerian lad’s current soaring transfer value.
This also adds a new angle to a recurring transfer saga that has in recent months linked Osimhen with top clubs like Chelsea of England, Juventus of Italy, Paris Saint-Germain of France and Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia, while he is also cited in recent financial gains Gala are reportedly receiving from their sales of his merchandise.
While acknowledging growing transfer interest in the product of Ultimate Strikers Football Academy of Lagos, Eren opined that Galatasaray will aim to get a huge fee on Osimhen, considering the all-action attacker’s amazing contributions to the club’s recent strides in Turkey and the UEFA Champions League.
Although the football guru’s verdict came few hours before Osimhen failed to score in 90 minutes of action against visiting Trabzonspor, as his top-placed side settled for a 0-0 draw with the current runners-up on Saturday in the Turkish Super Lig, Eren believes the Nigerian star has already done enough to justify his mammoth rating.
He recalled how Galatasaray virtually broke the bank to buy Osimhen’s contract in full from SSC Napoli of Italy, as he initially played on loan with the Istanbul-based Turkish champions throughout last season and became their highest scoring foreign player ever, thereby paving way for his full transfer this past summer.
So soon after committing his immediate future to The Rams, the former VfL Wolfsburg of Germany, Racing Charleroi of Belgium and Lille Metropole of France hitman has already become Galatasaray’s top scorer ever and first player to score for them in seven straight matches of continental competitions.
Eren took a closer look at the astonishing figures being garnered by the 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup top scorer and gold medalist, then declared emphatically that Osimhen has qualities that are rare among other renowned players across the world of football.
“Victor Osimhen is a completely different player. If Osimhen continues with this performance this season, if he keeps reflecting these qualities on the field, in the Champions League, they will pay 150 million euros for this guy,” Eren projected.
However, Sports247 gathered further from a report by Mekteb-i Gala that Galatasaray would instead expect to receive a massive payment of €180m from any club eager to sign Osimhen in the January transfer window or when this current season ends in the summer.
