Victor Osimhem Admits: ‘I Want To Keep On Winning More Awards’

Galatasaray of Turkey striker, Victor James Osimhen has admitted that he is eager to win more personal honours and also excel in each match he plays, but quickly interjected that he always wishes the same for his teammates.

Sports247 reports that Osimhen has been in the news since winning a man of the match award with his brace of goals against Bodo/Glimt of Norway in the UEFA Champions League, while also enacting several milestones in the process.

He became the club’s first player to score in seven straight continental games, got their fastest effort with his third minute strike and remains their most consistent foreign player ever.

However, while basking in all the euphoria, which includes startling figures of profits gained by Gala from the sale of Osimhen’s merchandise as well as revenue from their UCL victories against Liverpool of England and Bodo/Glimt, the in-form hitman is giving equal credit to his teammates.

“This one and the previous one are for us all, and I hope that someone else from my teammates also wins it in the next round,” he enthused.

Osimhen then went on to pledge his continued efforts and determination in getting good results for the team, while also praying for his colleagues to equally make their own marks for the Istanbul-based squad.

“For me, it’s just to keep the performance up and help the team. If I’m not scoring, I’ll assist. I’ll fight for every ball and fight for my teammates.

“Of course, I wish myself all the best and more of this to come. Once my teammates win something like this, I’ll also be happy for them,” Osimhen assured.

He will now aim to keep his astonishing goals scoring form going strong this Sunday when he lines out for Galatasaray at home against Goztepe in the Turkish Super Lig.
