VICTOR MOSES HAS FOUND LOVE AGAIN IN TURKEY

Two months after his last appearance for Chelsea, where he has endured a frustrating start to the 2018/19 season and may have come to accept he may not have a future at Stamford Bridge, 27 year-old Winger Victor Moses may be falling back in love with football again and in new lands!

Moses opted for a fourth loan spell away from Chelsea this January after he lost his place in the Starting XI, a bold decision to join Turkish Super Lig strugglers Fenerbahce for the rest of the season, and two games in it already looks like a decision that could spring the Nigerian back into reckoning.

In four months since the appointment of Italian Maurizio Sarri, as the Blues' Manager, Moses went from a regular starter to getting cameos, sub roles and outrightly dropped from match day squads for the most part.

Rewind to 2017, the retired Nigeria international was a key component of Chelsea the team's 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 systems in 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons, that saw Chelsea pick up the Premier League title and the FA Cup.

However, with Sarri opting for a 4-3-3 formation, Moses, who was favored as a Wing Back could hardly convince the Italian he deserved a spot in his natural position as a Winger.

That frustration forced him out and to the waiting arms of Fenerbahce who have been dealing with one of the worst season's in the club's 111-year history.

Neck deep in the relegation battle, Moses was recruited to give the Yellow Canaries some attacking boost; preferring to play him as a Winger and so far it looks like it is paying off.

He has come on as a substitute in his first set of games, scoring his first goal for the club in his second league appearance and now the club are making a steady ascension in the table.

After the 6.9 rating, per Whoscored.com, in the 26minutes he was on the pitch for Moses drew further admiration of the fans as he was treated to a special coffee serving bearing a picture of his goal celebration against Goztepe.

Thanks to these fans who made me this special coffee. Thank you for the reception you’ve given me since I joined means a lot to me and my family (@VictorMoses)

Fenerbahce next play in the Super Lig away to Kayserispor two days before Chelsea face Manchester City in their second meeting in the league and with Sarri recently expressing confidence the team is shaping up; the Bookmakers favour Pep Guardiola masterminding a major win.

His attention may now be firmly fixed on helping Fener finish as high up the table as possible, but Moses has one year left on his contract with Chelsea and could fancy a permanent deal at the ŞükrüSaracoğlu Stadium where he has found love again – Love for Football.
