The visitors took the lead in the 23rd minute when A. Atta finished calmly after being set up by Jordan Zemura.

Verona responded quickly, restoring parity three minutes later through Gift Orban, who combined well with A. Sarr before firing home to make it 1–1.

The goal marked Orban’s seventh Serie A strike of the season, underlining his growing influence in the Italian top flight.

Udinese, however, regained control after the break. Alessandro Zanoli struck in the 58th minute to put the visitors back in front, before K. Davis sealed the win in the 67th minute, finishing off another impressive move initiated by Atta, who capped a fine individual performance with a goal and an assist.

In goal, Maduka Okoye delivered a solid display for Udinese, providing calm assurance at the back as his side saw out the match with authority.

The win strengthens Udinese’s position in the Serie A standings and continues their positive run of form.

For Hellas Verona, Orban’s goal proved to be little consolation as defensive lapses once again cost them dearly.

The defeat leaves Verona rooted in the relegation zone, increasing the pressure as the season progresses.
