UCAM and AEPD dedicate new edition of Master’s Degree in Sports Journalism to the Olympic Games

Translated by: Constanza Mora Pedraza – AIPS Member

MADRID, August 8, 2020 – In 2021, the Olympic and Paralympic Games are scheduled to be held in Tokyo from July 23rd to August 8th and from August 24th to September 5th, respectively.

For UCAM and the Spanish Association of Sports Press (AEPD) the training of future sports journalists in the coverage of the Olympic Games is essential. For this purpose, we have designed a training program in which students will obtain a global and complete vision of these great sporting events. We will address the details of the news coverage; we will give useful tools to address the different communication scenarios and challenges, as well as to report rigorously and effectively on the day-to-day basis of the Olympic event.

Students will be able to follow live each of the masterclasses that will be held in the UCAM Radio and Television Studio and intervene with the questions they consider appropriate through videoconference.
