U-13 Lagos JOF Cup Final Holds Sunday

The management of JOF Nigeria Limited has announced 2, May 2021 as the new date for the grand finale of the U-13 JOF Kids Cup scheduled to hold at Campos Mini Stadium, Lagos Island.

The final would be played between Ayo Babes FC of Ajeromi and Junior Arsenal FC of Alimosho.

Addressing the journalists in Lagos, the chairman, JOF Nigeria Limited, Dr Olusegun Olugboyegun congratulated all the participating teams for the spirit of sportsmanship exhibited throughout the tournament and urged the finalists all the best in their outing

Olugboyegun who was ably represented by Adeyinka Adetunji, Director , Strategic Support Services of JOF Nigeria Limited thanked the organizers of the tournament for giving his company the privilege of being associated with their efforts to develop sports and discovery of young football talents who have prospects of bringing glories to their families and the country at large.

“Our Chairman has asked me to extend his congratulations to our talented footballers who have formed themselves into clubs to take part in this competition, their coaches, managers, parents and supporters. We are conscious of the fact that these football teams have engaged in trainings that required hardwork, discipline and determination. With the ages of these players, outdoor sporting activities should always be considered as an important part of their leadership developments, aside being an opportunity to showcase and develop talents of the future leaders of our great country

“As the sponsor, we are specifically excited with the Lagos State Grassroots Soccer Association for the continuity of this tournament because of its usefulness as a platform to discover talents and prepare the kid footballers for even greater competitions in the future,” he said.

Adetunji disclosed that the winner would go home with a giant trophy with the sum of N300, 000. The second position would receive the sum of N200, 000, while third and fourth position would go home with the sum of N150, 000 and N100, 000 respectively.

He however urged the both finalists to play the game according to the rules and shun and form of violence that can bring the tourney into disrepute.
