The management of Buruj Sports Academy have announced that only three players consisting of two central defenders and a forward player are required to complete the squad being put together for the upcoming trial camp holding in Turkey come January.
The tournament which is designed to showcase some of the enormous talents that are abound in the training camp of the Ikorodu-based outfit will be graced by top agents and scouts from top football clubs across Europe who will be hoping to scoop for exciting talents.
The management of the academy headed by Dr. Salaudeen Waheed are already putting finishing touches to their arrangements for the trip and as they are set to send the squad list to the organisers, just three players who are have all the physical and technical qualities would be considered to complete the list.
“We need just three players more – two central defenders and one striker with a good height. We want to expose some of our best talents in Turkey and the focus is to help them showcase their potential and probably play their way to good contracts. ”
“The organisers are expecting us to best the deadline date for submission of our squad list and new players will be considered on merit if they can meet our criteria and register on time, ” the CEO of the academy Salaudeen Waheed opined on the new development.
Meanwhile, all the travel and logistic requirements are also being put in top gear so that they can beat the deadline stipulated by the organisers.
