Excellent Football Club of Ughelli 20-man squad has been confirmed for the club’s participation in the 2021 Tournoi International de Football Koumassi TIK K tournament in Ivory Coast which starts on September 4.
Excellent FC CEO Mr. Onome James in a chat with EFC media revealed that his team is prepared to represent Nigeria well.
“We are prepared for this challenge. The young lads are rearing to go and it’s an opportunity that we cannot afford to toil with.
Onome went further to reveal their readiness for the international event.
“For us, I must say winning the 4 team tournament held in Ughelli is a massive boost for the team. That competition gave us the opportunity to assess our young lads and see how prepared we are for the tournament in Abidjan.
The squad leaves Lagos on Wednesday 1st September and are scheduled to take part in the tournament from 4th-8th September 2021 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
17 players and 3 officials are expected to make the trip.
