Transfer News: Napoli Will Demand €100 million For Man Utd, Newcastle Target Victor Osimhen

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is reportedly willing to listen to offers around €100 million for his prized asset amid interest from Premier League clubs.

According to Calciomercato, Napoli are set to demand a transfer fee in the region of €100 million for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, who has emerged as a transfer target for Manchester United and Newcastle United.

Both teams are interested in signing the 23-year-old this summer, with the Partenopei acknowledging that the Premier League is his most likely next destination. Napoli won’t let Osimhen leave for cheap, however, as they seek to get at least €100 million for a prized asset.

Newcastle United are looking for a quality center forward to help them qualify for Europe next season, and Osimhen’s name is at the top of the list. With Manchester United, contact has not been made yet but the club is seriously considering a move as they attempt to rebuild under Erik ten Hag next season.

Osimhen is Napoli’s top scorer this season with 17 goals in all competitions, 13 in Serie A and 4 in the Europa League. Napoli currently sit third in the league table with two games left and have already secured a place in next season’s Champions League group stages.
