Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi has been offered to Manchester United, as speculation grows over a possible return to the Premier League for the Nigerian midfielder.
Ndidi, who joined Turkish giants Beşiktaş last summer, brought an end to his eight-year stay in England with Leicester City, where he established himself as one of the Premier League’s most reliable defensive midfielders.

However, just months into his stint in Turkey, the 29-year-old is already being linked with a move back to England.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano revealed that Ndidi’s representatives have presented him to Manchester United as a potential midfield option ahead of the January transfer deadline.
“One player that has been offered to Manchester United is Wilfred Ndidi,” Romano said. “The former Leicester City midfielder, now playing in Turkey, is being offered as an opportunity for this January transfer window to strengthen their midfield.”
According to Romano, Ndidi is keen on a Premier League return and is open to making compromises to secure a move back to England.
However, despite being aware of the opportunity, Manchester United have not made any formal bid or concrete approach for the player.
“Offered in the sense that the player would be happy to return to the Premier League,” Romano added.
“Manchester United know about this chance, but at the moment there
has been no bid or official offer. The player is ready, even on the contract side, to do what it takes to go back to the Premier League.”
Ndidi has been a key figure for Beşiktaş this season, making 14 league appearances and scoring once, while providing stability and experience in midfield.
His performances have kept him in the spotlight, particularly as clubs across Europe assess options to reinforce their squads in the second half of the campaign.
With less than two weeks remaining in the winter transfer window, the Super Eagles captain will be hoping that interest from England materialises into a concrete move.
A return to the Premier League would not only offer Ndidi a more competitive platform but also place him back among familiar surroundings where he enjoyed his most consistent football.
