“I feel I am just stepping up because this is my first NNL and 2nd professional game. So I feel like I am growing into the league, and with time, I know I would adapt properly and become better with every match,” he said in a post-match interview with Sports247, emphasizing his commitment to continuous development.

Commending the team’s overall performance, Emmanuel acknowledged that, despite playing well in previous games, luck had not always been on their side.

However, he expressed optimism that the recent victory marked a turning point. “We are doing very well. For most of our games, luck has not been on our side because we play very well and we end up losing, but now I feel that luck is turning back to our side, and with this momentum, we can continue winning,” he stated.

When questioned about the strategy to retain their newfound luck, Emmanuel emphasized the importance of sustained hard work.

“We will continue working hard as a team. We will not relent because once we feel we have arrived, we will start losing games again.

So, we will keep up the hard work that we have been doing for the past few months. We will continue working that way,” he asserted, underlining the team’s commitment to maintaining their positive momentum.

Looking forward to their next game, Emmanuel expressed a determined approach, declaring, “We are going all out for the win because Osun came here and got 3 points so we can also go out there and get the 3 points.”

His optimistic outlook and eagerness to secure victories underscore the team’s collective ambition and commitment to success in the ongoing season.
