Trabzonspor claimed a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Göztepe on Sunday evening at the Gürsel Aksel Stadium, overcoming late pressure and a dramatic finish to secure all three points in the Turkish Süper Lig despite Anthony Dennis Stunner for the Home side.

The second half sparked to life almost instantly, with Enis Muçi breaking the deadlock just a minute after the restart.
The midfielder struck again in the 76th minute, completing a brilliant brace that placed Trabzonspor firmly in control.
Göztepe refused to fold and found a lifeline in the 85th minute when Anthony Dennis produced a stunning effort to ignite the home crowd and set up a tense finale.
The hosts pushed forward in search of an equaliser, but their momentum stalled after Wilker Ángel Pina was shown a red card in the 78th minute.
The match’s intensity boiled over deep into stoppage time as Trabzonspor’s Rhaldney was also sent off in the 90+8th minute, adding to the drama of an already heated encounter.
Despite the reduction in numbers, Abdullah Avcı’s side held firm to protect their lead.
In the end, Dennis’s brilliance wasn’t enough to deny Paul Onuachu’s Trabzonspor a valuable away win, one that keeps their momentum alive in the league.
