Chelsea of England defender, Tosin Adarabioyo has served a strong hint that he will soon make an official announcement over his international future, Sports247 reports.
Despite recent reports detailing that he had turned Nigeria down in preference for the country of his birth, England, the former Manchester City and Fulham centre back said he never made any announcement in that regard

The vastly improved 27-year-old stopper, who had his busiest season in the English Premier League as a regular starter in Chelsea’s heart of defence, stressed that no one approached him with an offer to commit himself to a future with Nigeria.
Tosin also pointed out that he has focused on how to stabilise his career all this while and, having enjoyed a successful first year at Chelsea, he believes the time to make a decision has come.
The lanky central defender, who previously played on loan at West Bromwich Albion and Blackburn Rovers, expatiated, “I’ve never turned down Nigeria, and I’ve never had any conversation with them to say I won’t be going to Nigeria.
“At a point last season, I was at Fulham, and I had to concentrate on that. Then I was thinking of the move to Chelsea. Now that I’m here, and I’ve spent one year with Chelsea, I think this is going to be the time to make a decision.”
This declaration by Tosin, which came during the post-match media briefing after Chelsea’s victory in the UEFA Conference League final over Real Betis of Spain, will surely set top shots of Nigeria and England scampering in search of his allegiance.
He could, however, opt to follow the footsteps of other former England youth internationals like Efe and Sam Sodje, Shola Ameobi, Victor Moses, Alex Iwobi, Semi Ajayi and Ademola Lookman, who excelled after switching allegiance to play for Nigeria at senior level.
