Too Early For Me To Be Under Pressure- Sheriff Tajudeen Admits, After Losing His Game At Home To Pelican Stars

Coach of Dreamstars Ladies of Lagos, Sheriff Tajudeen has admitted that it is too early for him to be under pressure following his team’s defeat at home to Pelican Stars on Wednesday.

Sheriff Tajudeen took charge of his first game, as Dreamstars Ladies Coach, but was unfortunate in his debut match, his side lost at home to Sanusi Adeleke’s team.

Speaking with Sports247 Sheriff Tajudeen expressed his disappointment about losing his first game in charge of the team, stating that it’s too early for him to be under pressure, because he believes the team is improving with every game they play. He also stated that even though they are still bottom of the NWFL standings, come end of the season, they wouldn’t be there.

“This is my first game, and I am pleased to see it through till the end, but am very disappointed with outcome of the game”.

“It’s too early to talk about pressure. It’s just my first game here and if you look at the previous five (5) games that the girls have played, you will see that the team is playing very exciting football and that their performances are improving. So without a shadow of a doubt, even though we are at the bottom of the table, I am pretty sure that, come the end of the season, we wouldn’t be here”, he admitted.

Dream stars Ladies will look to bounce back from the home loss when they battle Royal Queens in Warri in their next NWFL game.
