Former Dakada striker Tom Lucky has made an encouraging start to life in Europe after joining Lithuanian top-flight side FK Sūduva Marijampolė during the 2024/2025 transfer window.
In his debut season in the A Lyga, the Nigerian forward quickly adapted to European football, scoring three goals and providing one assist in league competition. His strong attacking instincts and pace have made him a reliable option for the Sūduviečiai as they push for greater success next season.

Tom also featured prominently in the Lietuvos Futbolo Taurė (Lithuanian Cup), where he played four matches, registering one goal and one assist, and helping his side reach the latter stages of the competition.
His performances throughout the campaign earned him two Player of the Match awards and a well-deserved spot in the Team of the Week, marking him as one of Sūduva’s brightest young prospects.
Reflecting on his first season in Europe, those around the club described Tom as “hardworking and disciplined,” with coaches commending his ability to adapt to a new environment and maintain consistency in front of goal.
Though the Nigerian forward admits there’s still room for improvement, his impact in Lithuania has been notable. The striker’s sharp finishing, movement off the ball, and work rate have made him a fan favourite among Sūduva supporters.
As he now takes a well-earned break before the 2025/2026 season, all eyes are on what comes next for the promising attacker.
