Sports247 reports that the 27-year-old defensive midfielder is expected to sign a three-year contract with the Thessaloniki-based outfit, bringing an end to his spell with the English Championship club.

Negotiations between the two clubs have reportedly been concluded successfully, with Dele-Bashiru also giving his approval for the move.

Aris identified the Nigerian as one of their priority transfer targets as they seek to strengthen their midfield ahead of the new season.

His experience across English and Turkish football is expected to add depth, stability, and versatility to the squad as the club pursues its domestic ambitions.

Dele-Bashiru spent the previous campaign on loan at Turkish side Gençlerbirliği, where he made 28 appearances and contributed one assist.

Although his attacking statistics were modest, his performances in midfield showcased his defensive discipline, work rate, and ability to dictate play from deeper positions.

Despite remaining under contract with Watford until 2027, the Championship side agreed to facilitate his departure, paving the way for a fresh start in Greece.

The move offers the midfielder an opportunity to revive his career and secure regular first-team football after several seasons marked by loans and limited opportunities.

Having represented Nigeria at under-23 level, Dele-Bashiru remains a player of interest for supporters who have followed his development since his emergence in English football.

His switch to the Greek top flight could provide the platform needed to rediscover his best form and potentially push for further recognition at the international level.

Currently valued at approximately €1.8 million according to Transfermarkt, the midfielder arrives in Greece with valuable experience and the ambition to make an immediate impact.

For Aris Thessaloniki, the acquisition signals intent as the club continues to reinforce its squad ahead of the upcoming campaign.

For Tom Dele-Bashiru, meanwhile, the transfer represents a new beginning and a chance to establish himself as a key figure in the Greek Super League while writing the next chapter of his professional career.
