The friendly against Iran is scheduled for Friday, March 27, and forms part of a four-nation invitational tournament designed to give participating teams valuable match experience. Nigeria will also face the Jordan national football team on March 31 at the same venue.
For the Super Eagles, the fixtures present an important opportunity to rebuild and refine under Chelle, particularly after missing out on qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
With competition for places intensifying and new talents being integrated into the squad, the Antalya camp is expected to play a crucial role in shaping the team’s direction.
As more players arrive and preparations hit full stride, attention now turns to Friday’s encounter, where Nigeria will look to make a strong statement against Iran.
