Over the weekend, more matches were played in the Fusion Football Championship and it was witnessed by a top Football administrator in Lagos State and the Country at large as Hagji Gafar visited the games.
Hagji Gafar who is the founder of the popular 36Lions FC of Lagos who has produced lots of players playing professionally abroad commended the organizers of the league after watching the games.
“They need to continue the good work, keep doing well and keep engaging the youth,” he said to the organizer.
He also stated that “this is where the next Okocha, Kanu and Rasheed Yekini of blessed memories will be discovered. With 20 teams from division one and a team in the second division, that is a huge achievement.”
Alhaji Gafar further went on to commend the organizers while also explaining his mission for attending the game on the day.
“I must commend Alhaji Salau, Hakeem, and every other person involved in this wonderful idea and getting boys busy week in week out,” he said. “Me coming here is just to find the best in Lagos or the top talent that I can work with within a year or two and see what we can nurture to the next level and ultimately to the next level,” Alhaji concluded.
