‘The Heavyweight Dragon Slayer Is Me, Tyson Fury Roars As Heavyweight Champion Claims He’s Better Than British Rival Anthony Joshua

Tyson Fury responded to accusations he has only fought poor boxers and maintained he’s a better fighter than Anthony Joshua.
Fury was interviewed on American radio with former NFL star and ESPN host Keyshawn Johnson attempting to rile the heavyweight champions by questioning the caliber of his opponents.

The Gypsy King responded by highlighting he had ended the reigns of Wladimir Klitschko and Deontay Wilder, Dailymail reports.

Radio host Johnson asked Fury: ‘Tyson, what if I look at your record and say you fought a bunch of tomato cans, then what?’
Fury responded: ‘Listen, you can have your opinion but it means nothing because facts are facts and I’ve beaten the only two undefeated long-reigning champions.

“I’m only the second man in history after Muhammad Ali to beat two champions with more than ten defences under their belt.”
Fury is waiting for a date for his third fight with Wilder, which could be pushed back to next year because of coronavirus before he can start preparing for a potential bout with British rival Joshua.

Johnson again tried to get a reaction from the 32-year-old by suggesting his rival is ahead of him.
He said: ‘What if I told you wasn’t number one and I put Anthony Joshua ahead of you?’

Fury replied: ‘I don’t have to prove myself; I’m the ‘lineal’ heavyweight champion for the last five years.’
“[I’m] undefeated, these guys have been beaten. There’s only one undefeated champion and he goes by the name of the ‘Gypsy King”.

‘There used to be a three-headed monster until the other two monsters got slain by the slayer. The heavyweight dragon slayer is me, Tyson Fury.’
