‘The Future Of Nigeria Football Is In Safe Hands’ – Dotun Coker Lauds Seyi Amos Seamoriow Sports Limited Project, Calls On More Societal Investment

Ex-technical director of the Lagos State Football Association, Dotun Coker has lauded the immense project of the Seamoriow Sports Limited which is spearheaded by Amos Oluwaseyi as he calls on more major stakeholders investment in the society.

The astute business man and sports lover popularly hailed as Seamoriow is the founder of the Seamoriow Sports Limited in Alimosho and also the owner of the Seamoriow FC that just won the Seamoriow Sports U20 Super 8.

Speaking after the finals of the Seamoriow Sports U20 Super 8 in an exclusive interview with Sports247.ng, Dotun heaped praise on the initiative which is in bid to curb social vices and give youths platform to develop their potentials.

“I am really excited about this initiative and at this level, this is what Lagos State needs especially now that they are preparing for the National Sports Festival and Lagos State has always been known to parade youngsters so we have been able to identify some players here that will be introduced to the State FA.”

“Not just that, advise has been given to our national league teams too that we are going to introduce some players to them so that next season, Lagos State will do better than the last year,” he added.

“I must give kudos to the Lagos State government, Mr governor has been able to do well by creating an enabling environment for such edifice as this and Mr governor through the Lagos State sports commission came to commission this place and since then, it has been one offer to various communities to use this place,” Coker spoke of the government’s contribution in all of the journey so far.

“I can tell you that for team Lagos preparing for the last national sports festival, they used this place for training free without having to pay anything.”

“Big applause to Amos Oluwaseyi for doing this and for others that have the capacity for this, I would encourage them to do this similar thing in various communities so that Lagos State can get rid of social vices at the youth level,” he encouraged.

“The future of sports is safe with hands like this, the man is very professional in all his dealings and for him to have built this, you must know that he has done well in his chosen career and coming into sports, it’s all about him giving back to the society, big thanks to him,” he concluded.
