TGC Nigeria Camp 2020: Ojo Paul Omamomo, Tiago Calisto and partners scout for players in Uyo.

TGC Sports Management, Events and Trading during the week held a two-day screening and trials in the capital city of Uyo to handpick outstanding players which can be signed to professional football clubs in Portugal.

The event which was organized by Ojo Paul Omamomo the Regional Director of TGC Nigeria Sports Management kicked off on the 11th of March, 2020 and ended on the 12th of March with a final screening to select 6 outstanding players.

Ojo Paul Omamomo who is an NFF Licensed Intermediary/FIFA Agent is known for managing a handful of players through TGC Sports Management like Peter Etebo, Ogana Louis, Dele Alampasu, Charles Etim (Blessed Stars Football Academy) and others. Tiago Calisto who the CEO of TGC Sports Management was in attendance of the program alongside Pedro Moreira and Carlos Silva.

The program was organized to scout for players that can play in the Portuguese football league. The scouting tournament which had eight youth teams in attendance like Blessed Stars Football Academy, FC One Rocket, Port Harcourt City FC, Right 2 Win FC, Isaac Success FC among other teams had the opportunity to display its finest players to the scouts.

After two days screening over 6 players were selected in total and are expected to be in Portugal before summer this year.

The organizer of the event through TGC Ojo Paul Omamomo told the journalist that the mission of the program is to offer good football education to the young and talented players ready for professional football.

TGC Global Management Portugal has managed over 36 Nigerian footballers.

“This is a process which we have carried out over the years and we have been successful at this,” Omamomo began.

“We have seen some talents and we will be bringing them closer to proper tutelage” said Ojo Paul Omamomo.
