Terem Moffi Goes To Court, After Club Fans Attack His Private Part In France

Super Eagles’ striker, Terem Moffi is among a couple of players at OGC Nice of France who have decided to take their own club’s supporters to court, after the fans hit him on his private part.

Sports247 gathered that Moffi sued Nice’s fans alongside Nice teammate, Jeremie Boga, after they were both attacked for apparently making a mockery of their team’s loss against his former club, Lorient.

Moffi and Boga had to be granted sick leave after the attack, which happened when their club’s bus returned to the team’s training ground on Sunday night, following a 3-1 defeat by Lorient.

Around 400 angry supporters were reportedly there waiting for the delegation and French newspaper, Truibuna added that Moffi and Boga were punched, kicked and spat on.

Some of the blows reportedly landed on their genitals and they also had racist slurs spoken against them, as the supporters derided Moffi, who played 90 minutes of the game, while Boga got off the bench.

Consequently, Moffi will be out of action until next Sunday, as he was said to have needed help from his team’s goalkeeper, Yehvann Diouf to get into the training ground.

Moffi was allegedly seen laughing with former Lorient present Loic Remy after the defeat on Sunday, while Boga was attacked because he invited Olympique Marseille’s abusive fans to the stadium earlier in November.

Following Sunday’s incident, Boga pleaded in a statement, “At no time, believe me, was it my intention to show disrespect toward Nice supporters.

“However, I understand the disappointment this may have caused. To all those I may have hurt, I offer my apologies.”
