Teams Take Positions As NNL Enters Week 4

The second tier of Nigerian football, The Nigerian National League continues actions across the country this week. It is round four of hostilities and the battle gets stiffer in the northern and southern zone. El Kanemi and Niger Tornadoes, sit on their respective northern tables while Shooting Stars of Ibadan and the boys from Ijebu, Remo FC sit at their southern tables.

Sitting comfortably at the bottom are Aklosendi and Shekarau in the northern province. Goddoski and Stationery Store who lost to Shooting Stars by 0:3 are wallowing at the bottom tables of their respective groups.

Some amazing games played that brought good results this week saw G&K Shekarau, despite being at the bottom, beat second-place Zamfara United 3:1. Kogi United lost at home 0:1 to Yobe Desert Stars at confluence Stadium, Lokoja.

In the South, Lagos boys Vandrezzer went away to lose 2:1 to Osun United and Giant Brillars and Delta Force settled for a goaless draw in the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu. More result on sports247.ng

Activities return on Sunday as Apex Krane will trade tackles with Bendel Insurance at Agbor township stadium and Remo Stars will lock horns with rivals, Gateway United at Remo stadium, Ikenne.
