Speaking to Sports247 in a post-match interview, Henry expressed his surprise at the margin of victory. “When we were leading at halftime, we never believed that this game would end with this kind of margin. But football is a very funny game. We enjoy playing it and we enjoy the fun we catch from it,” he said.
Henry attributed the team’s success to their focus, dedication, and discipline. “Our coach told us to remain focused and never to get carried away with anything that we seek. But we as players are more dedicated, more disciplined, and that showed a lot of things today,” he added.
Despite the impressive victory, Henry emphasized that the season is still ongoing and the team is not resting on its laurels. “We know that the season is still on. We don’t want to give anything up now. We’ll keep fighting, knowing fully well that we have one of the best platforms to showcase what we have and are very close to our dream. And that will happen soon,” he stated.
Dino SC now sits in second position with 37 points, just two points behind Beyond Limits, who are topping the table with 39 points. As the title race gears up, Dino SC, powered by the exceptional performance of players like Maduboko Henry, is showing that they are a force to be reckoned with in the Creative Championship League.
