The third edition of The Creative Championship League Season kicked off on Sunday, 9th October, 2022 at the Legacy Pitch in Lagos and fans have been promised good football according to the League Director, Akinyelu Olajide, Sports247 reports.
“The season is just starting but the fans should expect nothing less. Sporting Lagos has joined and the league remains ten teams and we can assure the fans of the best of football in Ogun State and Lagos state for the next 5-6 months,” Akinyelu said.
Quizzed on bulk of the players from various teams making big moves to Nigeria Professional Football League sides and even international moves, the director said that’s part of the aim of the the competition.
“That is one of the core objectives of The Creative Championship. The whole idea was to give players more competitive games to develop. From the first season to the second, many players have left and that’s huge at TCC because the players know that someone out there is watching them,” he concluded.
