Unbeaten since match week one and top of the table was all brought to the field and a halt when Dino SC defeated Atlantic Business to end a fairy tale start to The Creative Championship League 2023 season.
A goal in either half was enough to ensure that ABFC were brought to reality through hard work as stated my man of the match Blessing Essien.
“Stopping the unbeaten run of Atlantic Business wasn’t an easy task and to even win by 2-0, it’s not really luck but was due to hard work and determination of the team,” Blessing told Sports247.
“No time to joke around, it’s about the game. I had to create a special training time for myself just to improve and I noticed some others in the team do the same just to ensure we deliver the win,” he added.
Blessing however recognized the league season is still long and the winning mentality is all that matters.
“It’s a league and there’s still more games but we’ll keep that mentality to ensure that it’s all about winning,” he concluded.
