Dar es Salaam — Tanzania’s Singida Black Stars have departed for Burundi ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup encounter against Flambeau du Centre, scheduled for Sunday, October 19, 2025, at 10 p.m.
Head Coach Miguel Gamondi has expressed confidence in his team’s readiness, promising a strong performance while acknowledging the challenge of playing away from home.

“We are going prepared to win. We know it will not be an easy game because we’re playing away, but I am proud of our preparations and the quality of the players in our squad,” said Gamondi.
The Argentine tactician emphasized that the team’s mission is to secure victory and gain an advantage heading into the return leg, with the goal of reaching the group stage of the tournament.
Singida Black Stars advanced to this stage after a convincing 3–1 aggregate victory over Rayon Sports of Rwanda in the previous round.
With confidence high and preparations complete, the Tanzanian side will look to continue their strong run and make the nation proud on the continental stage.
