Tammy Abraham Awaits January 14 Decision Date

Aston Villa striker, Tammy Abraham has set his sight on a countdown to January 14, for a decision to be reached by his parent club, Chelsea, on his future.

Abraham has been angling for an exit from Villa, where he has hit top form on loan from Chelsea, but both clubs are reluctant to see him take his trade elsewhere this month.

However, with Abraham’s agents insisting on a deal, as many clubs in the English Premier League are jostling for his signature, Cheslea have now set themselves a deadline of January 14 to make a decision on his future.

The Blues academy graduate is currently enjoying a productive spell at Villa, with 16 goals in 20 English Championship appearances, and strong admiration has come his way from Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Chelsea keen to keep Abraham at Stamford Bridge but the West London side may allow the 21-year-old make a temporary switch to Molineux.

Abraham would be competing with Raul Jimenez for a starting role should he make the short trip across the West Midlands.

However, Chelsea must now decide whether less guaranteed first-team action would be beneficial to his development.

Chelsea have until the middle of January to exercise a recall option in Abraham’s deal with Villa.
