Talent FA, Fortune FA Shine With Six-Goal Hauls as Nathaniel Idowu–Ajegunle U-14 League Hits Week Two

Week Two of the Nathaniel Idowu–Ajegunle Under-14 Football League delivered another thrilling round of action, with Talent FA and Fortune FA producing dominant six-goal performances to underline their early title ambitions, while several other academies impressed across a packed matchday.

Pure Talents FA set the tone with an emphatic 6–2 win over Young 11 FA. Fidelis Prosper struck twice, while Chukwu Gozie, Adekunle Daniel and a brace from the outstanding Ajaloleru Yesiru ensured a comfortable victory.

Goals from Joseph Philip and Theodore Triumph proved only a consolation for Young 11 FA, as Yesiru was named Most Valuable Player.

Michael May FA followed up with a solid 2–0 victory against Best of Best International FA. Gavor Marvelous and Akinbowale Winner found the net, while Balogun Mohammed’s commanding display earned him the MVP award.

Bright Future FA and Divinely Blessed FA played out a hard-fought 1–1 draw.

Uzoma Chidoze opened the scoring before Amadu Daniel equalised, with Chisom Ekere emerging as the standout performer.

Fortune FA delivered one of the performances of the week, overpowering Strong Dove FA 6–2.

Adetola Faizor struck early, Odeshola Odunayo grabbed a brilliant hat-trick, and Olajide Akinola added to the rout. Strong Dove FA replied through Ajadi Ibrahim and Ezekiel Chidindo, but Fortune FA remained in control, with Odunayo named MVP.

Sharp Talent FA cruised past Ajegunle United FA with a convincing 3–0 win. An early own goal set the platform before Sulaiman Ibrahim and Shogbamu Emmanuel completed the scoring. Emmanuel was rewarded with the Full-Time MVP honour.

Coal City FA wrapped up the matchday with a narrow 2–1 victory over Moore Wins FA. Emmanuel Ani and Segun Alebiosu were on target, while Yousuo Daniel scored late for Moore Wins FA. Mohammed Wasiu took home the MVP award.

Beyond the pitch, the league continues to attract strong support. Joy Ekwem has pledged to supply water to all teams throughout the competition, while Kelvin Osaze, CEO of Kelvin Osaze Transport Services, donated ₦200,000 to the League Management Committee and provided ₦50,000 in educational support for Surajudeen Mujeeb, the youngest player in the league from Bright Future FA.

In addition, each Man of the Match awardee received a branded t-shirt courtesy of Lagos State FA Vice Chairman, Adedotun Coker.
