Former youth international, Taiwo Oloyede has charged players in Nigeria’s current junior national team, Flying Eagles, to think of picking a ticket to the Mundial before planning how to win this year’s African U20 Cup of Nations in Egypt.
Sports247 reports that the Flying Eagles will this Thursday play against Tunisia in their first match at the U20 AFCON, after which they tango Morocco on Sunday and then end group play on May 7th versus Kenya, all of which Oloyede declared should be winning games.

While disclosing that he is already wishing the team good luck in The Land Of The Pharaohs, Oloyede further affirmed that, since all four semi-finalists will automatically qualify for the FIFA U20 World Cup, it is imperative that the Flying Eagles first scale the hurdle of Group B then start thinking of becoming African champions afterwards.
“Let them win the World Cup ticket first, before we start calling for the AFCON trophy. I am already wishing them good luck to get the qualifying ticket because all the semi-finalists are going to the World Cup. I also wish them the best of luck from their first match,” the former Stationery Stores and Julius Berger FC of Lagos captain stated.
