Taiwanbeer Bears Basketball Club Welcomes Gabe

Taiwan Beer Basketball Team has officially announced the signing of this year’s draft No. 1# Humphery Edobor Gabriel “Gabe”. The Club Welcomed the new signing to their home ground after the Nigerian put pen to paper in a two plus one year Contract for an Undisclosed amount.

Gabe is 195 cm tall and averaged 14.8 points, 12.7 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game in the UBA college basketball league last year, the first in the history of Universal Science University.

The Former Extra Joss Fighter of Cambodia small forward was a major contributor to the top 4 in the UBA Last season and Head coach Zhou Junsan believes that Gabe can occupy the number 3 and 4 positions perfectly.

According to Gabe’s Manager, Ryan Shih who brokered the deal, Taiwan beer is a perfect place for Gabe to soar in the Super Basketball League ( SBL) as the team is very competitive and has a long history.

“Taiwan Beer is one of the oldest Basketball Club in Taiwan spanning over 30 years and they have won the championship the highest number of times, Six times. They are a very competitive side and i am sure Gabe will do great playing for them” Ryan stated.

Gabe, who has joined the team for a few weeks of training, said: “I know that Taiwan Beer has always been a traditionally strong team, but when I came to the team, I discovered the difference between professional teams and colleges. Every player has good moves and skills in their own positions, which made me deeply feel that I still have a lot of room for improvement, and I also feel that I am improving and growing every day.” I am really looking forward to the season” the US High School graduate stated.

Gabe is looking forward to his debut for Taiwan Beer in a tournament set to take off next month and hopes his rookie year in Taiwan Pro Basketball will be a success.
