“It’s going to be a tough game, like all of our other games in our group, but we got the result, and that’s the most important,” Lookman stated.

With two wins from three games, he highlighted the team’s defensive solidity while acknowledging the potential for improvement in the attacking aspect.

“We defend well. We win games as a group together. We know we can do better in terms of our attack, but we’ve won games, and as time goes on, we’ll get better,” Lookman added, expressing confidence in the team’s ability to enhance its attacking prowess.

Lookman affirmed the team’s commitment to continuous improvement, stating, “We’ll continue to do what we’ve been doing. We keep working hard as a group together and continue in this way. We believe in ourselves; we believe in each other. We got each other’s back, so that’s the most important thing.”

As the Super Eagles progress to the knockout stages, Lookman’s reflections highlight the team’s collective mindset and determination to evolve positively in the tournament.
