The hosts began the match on the front foot and opened the scoring in the 22nd minute through Michael Kayode, who finished calmly to give Brentford the early advantage.
The Bees doubled their lead in the 37th minute when Brazilian forward Igor Thiago converted from close range, capping a dominant first-half spell for the home side.
Wolves, however, pulled one back just before halftime as Adam Armstrong struck in the 44th minute with a well-taken effort from the edge of the box, reducing the deficit and keeping the visitors in the contest.
The comeback gathered pace in the second half following the introduction of Arokodare.
The Nigerian striker made his presence felt in the 77th minute when he rose above the Brentford defence to power home a header from a cross delivered by João Gomes, restoring parity for Wolves.
Arokodare nearly completed a stunning turnaround late in the game, but his second header struck the crossbar, denying him a dramatic winner.
The draw extends Wolves’ recent good run of form to three matches without defeat after victories over Aston Villa FC and Liverpool FC.
For Brentford, the result represents a setback in their pursuit of European qualification as they continue their push for a top-seven finish in the Premier League table.
