Veteran female football coach, Bala Nkiyu has warned that Nigeria’s Super Falcons will not find it easy to win the forthcoming continental tournament, Sports247 reports.

With this year’s Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON 2026) looming large, Nkiyu pointed out that other countries will also be eager to win the cup, then charged the Falcons to approach the competition like real champions.
Nkiyu stated, “Whether they are prepared or not, I know they will not find it easy. Even if they prepare well, they must know that every other team also wants to win the competition.
“They should know that the last one they won was also not easy. So they have to step up their efforts again. “It will not speak well if we lose this competition just because we won the previous one.
It will not make them look like good champions if they do not reach the final. Even if they are going to lose, it must be in the final.”
