After returning from Turkey with the Super Falcons, the skipper of Robo FC, Monday Gift, put in a very tasty and fine performance worthy of the Man of the Match award as she helped her team to a huge league win.
Gift who was one of two players invited to the Super Falcons team from FC Robo was in fine form and she was excited with her team’s performance on the day while also stating the win doesn’t guarantee them the title.
“I feel great and very happy. Winning the game today doesn’t guarantee us to win the title but it only lets us know that there’s still hope for us to win the title,” Gift told Sports247
Speaking on her experience with the Super Falcons in Turkey after her debut, she explained how accommodating the other older players in the team were.
“The older players did not actually act and show so much as to being bigger or older. They’re so welcoming and gave the younger players like me every support that we needed. They were basically a motivation to us,” said the Super Falcons player.
