Super Falcons’ Glory Ogbonna Returns To Besiktas After Philanthropic Football Endeavour

Super Falcons’ defender, Glory Ogbonna, has reentered the fold of her Turkish club, Besiktas, after actively participating in and sponsoring a football tournament in Abia State, Nigeria.

Ogbonna, known for her standout performances in defence, created history by generously supporting local youths during the inaugural tournament held in the Isialangwa South local government area.

Upon her return to Turkey, the former Edo Queens defender swiftly rejoined her team’s training sessions, actively participating in both physical conditioning and ball work to prepare for upcoming fixtures.

Besiktas currently holds the 6th position in the Turkish women’s league with 26 points. Their next challenge is scheduled against Kdz. Ereglispor on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
