Super Eagles Will Do Well At Egypt 2019 – Pinnick

Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president, Melvin Amaju Pinnick has assured the country’s soccer fans that the Super Eagles will do well at this year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Although Nigerian soccer fans complained about the Eagles’ form in Friday’s 3-1 victory against Seychelles in their last match of the AFCON 2019 qualifies, Pinnick declared that the team will do better in Tuesday’s friendly against Egypt.

Sports247.ng can report that Pinnick is even looking beyond the present, as he says the NFF will roll out their entire arsenal to accord the Eagles the best form of preparations, which will see them shine at Egypt 2019.

Nigeria will be among the 24 countries that will battle from June to July in Egypt, ahead of which Pinnick said the preparations for AFCON 2019 will be solely based in seeing the team win a fourth African soccer title.

Pinnick noted: “The Eagles have already qualified for the AFCON before the game and they were playing against a team that came to defend.

“They played with care (but) they will be totally different against Egypt on Tuesday.

“We will definitely put all the necessary arrangement in motion to ensure that the Eagles do well in Egypt.

“We are planning a big game for them in June. We are going to wrap it up, but we won’t reveal the opponents yet.”
