Several players of the Super Eagles have agreed to make themselves available on Wednesday for a special joint-parley with the media at the team’s hotel in Uyo.
Sports247 gathered that the media session will accord a cross-section of media outlets and personalities a rare opportunity of meeting many of the players for exclusive interviews.
The media session will hold some 72 hours before the players step out against Madagascar at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo for the start of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The parley would, therefore, accord media representatives the opportunity to feel the pulse of all 23 players in camp, as the Eagles’ had a full house of invitees at the last count on Tuesday night.
A short statement on social media that revealed the planned midweek parley disclosed in part, “Super Eagles players will be available for exclusive interviews as earlier communicated.
“Time slot for the press is 11am at the team’s hotel. Kindly be punctual, as we have limited time due to a tight schedule for Wednesday. Arrival and setting up will be concluded at or before 10.45am.”
Sports247 gathered further that the last player who stepped into the Eagles’ camp on Tuesday night was Udinese of Italy goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye, who may end up starting Friday’s game on the bench.
