Super Eagles Player Signs 2million Dollars A Year Deal With Japanese Club

Nigerian international, Gabriel Okechukwu has completed his move to Japanese side Sapporo FC in a deal worth 2million dollars per year.

The 25-yr old striker was a former player of Water FC in Nigeria and then played for Akwa United in the Nigerian Professional Football League where he scored 9 goals in 16 appearances before moving to Wydad Casablanca on a free transfer. He was on loan at Chabab Mohammédia from Wydad before completing this move to Japan.

The striker featured for the Nigerian U23 side between 2015 and 2017, getting 5 appearances and scoring 2 goals before his invite into the senior national team.

Sapporo FC plays in the Japanese J1 League and the center forward will hope to mark his mark in his new club.
