Super Eagles Goalkeeper Adebayo Adeleye Joins Greek Side Volos FC on Two-Year Deal

Nigerian international goalkeeper Adebayo Adeleye has officially signed a two-year contract with Greek Super League club Volos FC, following his departure from Enosis Neon Paralimni of Cyprus.

The 25-year-old shot-stopper, who previously represented Nigeria at U17 and U20 levels, arrives in Greece after a standout season in Cyprus, where he kept 10 clean sheets and earned six Man of the Match awards in 32 appearances.

Adeleye, formerly with Hapoel Jerusalem in Israel, made his senior debut for the Super Eagles in June 2023 during an AFCON qualifier against Sierra Leone.

Volos FC announced the signing on Friday, confirming Adeleye passed his medical and will join the squad ahead of the 2025–26 Greek Super League season.

The move marks a significant step in Adeleye’s career as he aims to further solidify his place in the Nigerian national team setup and continue his rise in European football.
