Super Eagles ‘Go Back To School’ At Rabat’s Institute For Sports

The Super Eagles’ players, coaches and officials are virtually ‘back in school’ each time they go for training in Rabat, Morocco, as the pitch is on the premises of the North African country’s elite sports institution.

Sports247 gathered that the Eagles are enjoying an atmosphere and environment of academics at their training cite in Rabat, as the premises where the pitch is located is similar to Nigeria’s National Institute for Sports (NIS) in Lagos.

Just as it is at the NIS, which has its own gymnasium, sports hall, outdoor courts and an expansive football pitch, the Eagles are bound to enjoy similar facilities at Rabat’s Institut Royal De Formation Des Cadres De La Jeunesse Et Des Sports.

A social media post and video by ‘Nigeria Super Eagles’ acknowledged the team’s appearance at the venue with a short message – “We had our first training session at the Institut Royal de Formation des Cadres in Rabat! #SoarSuperEagles #NGAGAB #FIFAWCQ.”

Sports247 also gathered further from a promotional citation about the venue: ‘The Royal Institute for Training of Youth and Sports Executives (IRFC-JS) is an institution of higher education.

‘The Institute comprises the following centers: National Sports Center Moulay Rachid, Salé; Youssoufia Center for the Promotion of Women and Kindergarten in Rabat; and Yaacoub El Mansour Center for the Training of Youth Executives in Rabat.

‘Others are National Youth Center at Mamoura in Salé put at the disposal of the FRM football; and National Sports Center la bellevue, Rabat. in the redevelopment phase.

‘CFRI’s mission is to contribute to the country’s development through training, research and expertise. It provides training for executives, particularly in the fields of sport, youth and childhood.’
