This comes courtesy of an online unveiling presentation of the Nigerian team’s latest designs by American sports kit giants, Nike, which splashed the home and away versions across social media on Monday.
While the home design is in green, the away version is white, which means the Super Eagles are bound to alternate the two versions for their upcoming friendlies with Iran and Jordan, depending on how they are placed in the fixtures.
A promotional statement on the Eagles’ X account disclosed in part: “The home kit features a light green base with darker green panels and a dotted fade pattern, along with the Nigeria Football Federation crest and Nike logo.
“The away kit has a white base with green flame designs, a dark green V-neck, and black-trimmed cuffs.
“Both jerseys use Nike’s Dri-FIT performance fabric and sustainable materials. The adult kits are priced at £109.99, while the kids’ versions cost £84.99.”
Sports247 reports further that the Super Eagles are set to seek their resurgence into the international spotlight at the mini-tournament in Turkey, where they will play against Iran this Friday and Jordan next week Tuesday.
The team will also hope to launch both eye-catching designs with positive results against two teams who they are yet to score against, having lost 1-0 to Jordan in a past friendly and played 0-0 against Iran at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
