Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman is currently nursing a calf injury that could sideline him for several weeks, according to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport via SOSFanta.
The Nigerian international reportedly felt discomfort during Wednesday’s training session, with the pain intensifying after he kicked the ball. He is now set to undergo medical examinations to determine the extent of the injury.

Although the issue is not believed to be serious, it is significant enough to keep Lookman from taking part in full training with the Bergamo-based club.
The injury update comes as speculation mounts over the 26-year-old’s future.
Inter Milan have reportedly submitted an initial bid of €40 million for the former Fulham and RB Leipzig forward.
However, Atalanta have made it clear that they are holding out for €50 million and are not open to negotiating below that valuation.
Despite the injury setback, Lookman is said to be keen on making the switch to Inter. Sources close to the situation suggest that a personal agreement has already been reached between the player and the Nerazzurri. Inter must now improve their financial proposal if they are to convince Atalanta to part ways with one of their key attacking assets.
Lookman played a pivotal role in Atalanta’s successful 2023/24 campaign, including a standout performance in the UEFA Europa League final, where he scored a historic hat-trick against Bayer Leverkusen
