Founder of Sports Kindergarten International (SKI), Sunny Kingsley has urged Sunday Dare’s Led Ministry of Youth and Sports Development in Nigeria, never to give up on Grassroot Sports in the country.
Sunny Kingsley, who is also a UEFA License Coach stated this during an interview with Sports247, where he continued to encourage the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development to continue their support in promoting Grassroot sports in the country. He also commended the efforts of the Ministry on going back to Grassroot Sports, but still urges them as well as all the Youths never to give up on it, because Nigeria is always a winner in terms of Sports activities.
“I see what the ministry (Youth and Sports Development) is doing. They have realized that we have to go back to Grassroot Sports. You can see the minister doing his best, the NPFL doing good, everyone involved in sports is doing well, trying to recognize that we have to go back to the Grassroot”.
“All I want to say to them is ‘NEGUP’, which is our slogan. It means ‘NEVER GIVE UP’. They have started it, they should tag people along, they should never give up on our youth, they should never give up on Grassroot Sports. Nigeria is a sports-loving Nation and always a Winner and Champion. We should always try to send a positive message to all youths in the country, never to give up in all they do,” he concluded.
Sunny Kingsley is also an Ex Nigerian International who is very passionate about the growth and development of Grassroot Sports in Nigeria.
